In Sydney's words...
Being a single mom of 2 kids now 18 and 4 I have been blessed to not only make my own work hours but I do what I love to do and have fun with it as well.
It all started fifteen years ago now when I got a gift of two faux finishing classes at UCLA.
I haven't put down a brush since. I painted all sorts of furniture and walls and graduated into murals shortly after. I did so much work on my own home and having to move broke my heart. I love large over scaled subjects and the wall wasn't always accessible to hang these pieces so I decided to put my work on the floor.
And the imagination is the limit for subject matter...
Anywhere from a 7 foot round tomato in your kitchen, sushi in your bathroom or a nice piece of the beach on your porch. I love to paint food and flowers in this large scale. Thanks to the internet my work has sold all over the world. . .sushi in Ireland, 8 foot asparagus spears in New York or gigantic orchids in Melbourne.
All my work is painted on heavy canvas with acrylic paints. It is then sealed multiple of times front and back for years of enjoyment. pricing is by the square foot and detailed of the piece. My work can be seen on Etsy.com under my name artbelongseverywhere.
I am also very proud to offer exclusive pieces for Kahuna Bay.
Enjoy.
