A glass vase (medium size) ...an essential and versatile home decor item to achieve several different beach style looks 

You can never have too many glass vases in beach style decorating.  The photo shown shows two vases side by side the tall vase and this item the medium vase.  The shells shown in our photos are snail shells and you can buy them here.

Glass vases are a "must" have when creating a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.  This vase is medium in height and so suitable for shorter cut flowers or a spot where you don't want such a tall vase/hurricane lantern.  

This is also great to achieve different heights to get a "stacked effect" you'll want a few different sizes of glass vases when grouping together.

An essential ingredient for either using for 

Displaying fresh flowers 

The basis of many a shell collection... group shells in vases by type or colour in different sized glass vases

Use as a hurricane lantern by filling the base with either sand, river stones or compact sea shells like our bubble shells or baby shells.  

We would use either a plain white pillar candle that is appropriate size for the vase or tealight candles.  Make sure the candle you choose is not touching the glass.  

There should be at least an inch diameter around the candle and the glass so it won't overheat.

Outside on table tops (a tall vase is wonderful if you have a windy spot and the candle keeps blowing out!) Looks great to put a collection of different vases around your table and then scatter a bunch of large and small shells around your outdoor centrepiece.

 If its very windy, bring them inside when not in use and they will look fabulous on your coffee table or side tables! Shells looks absolutely stunning when they are glowing in candlelight.
